Our Company
Inside Shasta Networks and our commitment to you.
We are here to support
Your Rise to the Top
For sustainable growth in a changing healthcare landscape, you need robust integration and scalable innovation that propel interoperability to new heights. Much more than a vendor or interface engine, Shasta Networks is the HIT integration partner you want to keep you moving forward on the journey to peak performance.
What We’re Made Of
Since our founding in 2000 as an IT consultancy – followed closely by our co-development of the healthcare industry’s first open-source interface engine, and then the industry’s first integration appliance and managed integration services – we’ve always had your best interest at heart. Yes, yours. That’s because we understand the full power and potential of connectivity in your healthcare enterprise, and we are committed to meeting the interfacing needs of every business in the care continuum.
Just as HIT integration is our passion, service is our calling. We develop meaningful, long-lasting relationships with our customers. From the beginning, it’s been in our DNA to listen closely and actively, and to provide solutions built from best practices and top industry standards. As a result, our consistent growth has been fueled by referrals and word-of-mouth praise from those we serve, and even other vendors we work with.
Always Looking Ahead
The future is bright for Shasta Networks. As our technologies evolve in tandem with your needs, we will continue to offer custom solutions and the industry’s most powerful platform for combining secure integration, data-driven decision support and expert Managed Services – all in our client-centric ecosystem. And, we will always be driven by our dedication to customer satisfaction, cutting-edge innovation and service excellence.
Our Leadership Team
We are a team of rockstar scientists, engineers, leaders, and project managers – and together, we take on your interoperability burdens so you can focus on your core business.
Jacek Zagorski
Founder & CEO
Always driven to go beyond the status quo, Jacek founded Shasta Networks in 2000. He currently oversees company growth and cultivates client relationships, even joining project calls from time to time. Running the company is a pleasure, he says, thanks to Shasta’s highly motivated team supporting clients who depend on Shasta to deliver interoperability solutions. With a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and career roots in both telecom and HIT, Shasta Networks – a name inspired by the view of Mt. Shasta from his home – is the culmination of his experience building great software, systems, and teams. In his free time, Jacek enjoys the outdoors through hiking, biking, foraging in his garden, and landscaping.
Drew Lee
President
With a BAS in Supervision and Management with a focus in healthcare – and a strong background in health data analysis and HIT project management – Drew joined us in 2017 and has been a pillar of effective leadership at Shasta Networks ever since. He passionately oversees business development, client engagement and process improvement, internally and for our clients. Solving complex workflow issues inspires his ability to think outside the box to deliver optimized results. He is dedicated to growth for our company, clients and team members. Outside of work, he likes woodworking and cooking on his smoker for friends and family. His love of hospitality usually makes him the life of the party.
John R. SoGood
Director of Engineering
With a BS in Computer Programming from Southern Oregon University and a strong passion for helping companies grow, John joined Shasta Networks in 2014 and has followed his dad’s advice of “giving it 110%” ever since. As Director of Technology, he oversees individual teams while continuously planning, researching and helping to develop new and enhanced technologies. SoGood is his chosen surname (yes, there’s a cute story there – ask and he’ll tell you), and when it comes to his ability to ensure the right technology for our clients and company, we believe it fits just right.
Matt Libante
Director of Technology
Matt puts his very best into his work because he loves creating applications, scripts, and tools that everyone will want to use. From Ascent software development to systems and network administration, he lives by the sage advice of Vince Lombardi: “If we chase perfection, we can catch excellence”. Prior to joining the Shasta family in 2016, he earned his private pilot license from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, then his BS in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Southern Oregon University. No stranger to the thrill of reaching new peaks, Matt’s 2022 Antarctica trip completed his dream of visiting all seven continents.
